The Ultimate Playlist

Hello, how are you today? I've been listening to a lot of music recently and thought why don't I share with you my favourite songs on my playlist.

The Coronas
Since I first heard of them with their song Heroes and Ghosts I have remained quite a big fan. They're Irish (yeah!) and nearly all their song are extremely good! I even saw them live at Indiependence.

Walking On Cars
They are my most recent obsession. I heard of them from a friend about a year ago, but alas I did not bother to look them up. And then I saw that they were on the Indie line up and though hmm maybe I should check them out. And then Bam! I was in love. They are also Irish (I seriously think Irish band are just superior to other countries). From Dingle ^_^

Hermitage Green
Erm... these are also Irish (sorry!). But they are just amazing. I also saw these at a gig. Just listen to the guitar!

Come on Eileen
It's a classic. There's nothing else to it.

Awolnation Sail

Also on my playlist are:
American Authors - Best Day of my Life
Kodaline - Brand New Day
Arctic Monkeys - Snap Out of it
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
The Beatles - Twist and Shout
Have you heard of any  of these songs? Tell me your favourites?
Marian  ^_^

  1. Scrolling through your post and thinking "Nope.... I haven't heard of any of these....ever...."
    Haha.
Actually, that's a lie. I have heard Sail (which I LOVE) and Best Day of my Life (which was so overplayed that I don't really like it anymore). It must be a cultural thing that I've not heard of hardly any of these songs, let alone the bands, and that saddens me because I love music. I'm going to try to listen to your playlist tonight while I finish up my homework, so hopefully I'll let you know tomorrow what I thought of all this foreign music ;)

I think you should listen to the band Twenty One Pilots. I would personally recommend the songs "Car Radio" or "House of Gold." Also "Ready, Aim, Fire" by Imagine Dragons.
And one more... I promise, only one... "Amnesia" by 5SOS. Have you heard any of those before?

    1. You've really never heard of them? Wow, maybe it is a cultural thing. Yeah Best Day of My Life is a bit over played but I still like it. You should definitely listen to the rest of them!

Okay, I just went and listened to all those suggested songs. I have never heard of Twenty One Pilots but after hearing those two I'm really starting to like them. Car Radio is seriously deep but i prefer House of Gold. And OF COURSE I have heard of Imagine Dragons. I dunno why they're not on this playlist.... hmm... I love Ready Aim Fire, On top of the world and it's Time.
Meh- I don't really like 5SOS, any of their songs...
Let me know what you think of the other songs! ^_^

  2. You have a great playlist..... I love the Coronas and Walking on Cars, I'm not sure why I've never heard of them before, they're great and I'm beginning to become slightly obsessed with them both. Hand and Hand actually reminds me of the song Monster by this band that I used to listen to called Skillet.
I like Hermitage Green fine enough, but I was more impressed with their guitar than singing.
When Come On Eileen came on, I just had to laugh because well... I've never heard it before and I don't know why, but it just makes me crack up uncontrollably!
So sorry to say, but I found the song by Kodaline slightly boring... I don't know, it just didn't inspire me.

I really like Twenty One Pilots, so I'm glad you like their songs! You're so right about Car Radio being deep, but it is the first song I heard from them and also my favorite. I'm seriously judging you for not liking 5SOS.... I don't think we can be friends anymore ;) Although, looking at the rest of your playlist, you don't really seem like a 5SOS type of person, so I suppose I can forgive you just this once ;P

    1. I know, aren't they just brilliant?! I tend to get really obsessed with one or two bands at a time and can't stop listening to the same songs over and over.
YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF COME ON EILEEN???!!! But everyone knows that one! Have you seen Perks of being a Wallflower, well it's in that. But it was always legendary before that movie. It's just so catchy and makes me want to dance like crazy every time I hear it. :D
Aw, I really like Kodaline. I know that song is a bit slow but I love that I can hum to it. It has such a good rhythm. They have plenty of other great songs too.
Yeah, I'm beginning to become obsessed with Twenty One Pilots.
^_^ sorry! When I hear 5S0S songs I'm just like -meh!- Yeah they're just not my type. It's not you it's me.... we can still be friends. :L

  3. I've never really heard of these except AWOLNATION so I'm excited to give them a listen! I recently downloaded AM and Snap Out of It is one of my favourites on the album! Also, Mr Brightside is a classic :D I really recommend Twin Atlantic and Alt-J. Twin are a Scottish kinda rock-ish band, I don't know how to describe them!! Alt-j are also really hard to describe but I recommend listeing to Tesselate, Fitzpleasure and Breezeblocks! :D x
